The fruit for this vintage was sourced from a small block in our St. Helena vineyards an select vines at Napa River Ranch. Blending the fruit from the two locations has resulted in a dense, chewy wine that offers aromas of sun-warmed bing cherries that give way to undertones of dry cedar, celery seed, snap peas and breadfruit. Grainy tannins frame ripe, rich, flavors of tart cherry, licorice and vanilla bean leading to a chewy, brown spice finish. Patient collectors will find this wine will continue to blossom over the next 5 years.
