For our 2007 Rosé, we gently crushed young Syrah berries from our Napa River Ranch vineyard, allowing jus enough skin contact to extract a deep rosy hue. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged a month in seasoned French oak to broaden the palate. 100% Syrah, this wine offers scents of watermelon, mashed strawberries, kiwi and rose petals. On the palate, anticipate vibrant notes of plum and cherry riding on a crisp, fresh acidity.
