Tasting Notes
Kathryn Hall, our signature Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the choicest fruit from our finest estate vineyard blocks and extraordinary mountain fruit from our select vineyard partners. Through a melange of varietals and terroir this wine has transcended into a symphonic Bordeaux cuvee.

A titillating bouquet of briar fruit, toasty oak, and baking spice lure you to a palate of dense, powerful fruit and massive structure. The wine is distinctly smooth. Fine grained tannins crescendo through the mid-palate and settle nicely into a long, memorable finish of berry pie flavors and a voluptuous, coating mouthfeel.

Price: $75/Bottle | $810/Case | $63.75/Bottle for Club Members

Praise for the 2005 HALL "Kathryn Hall" Cabernet

Rated 92 Points - Robert Parker
"The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon (primarily estate fruit) reveals a deep ruby/purple color as well as sweet, tarry, black currant, and chocolate notes with hints of wood smoke and spice box... It should drink beautifully for 15 or more years." —Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, December, 2008

Rated 92 Points - Wine Enthusiast
"Firmly tannic and dry, this Cabernet, which was blended with a little Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot, is one for the cellar. The tannins are tough and astringent, but when they melt away over the next decade or so, they’ll leave behind sweet currants, cedar and violets."
- S.H., Wine Enthusiast, December 2008
